Governance

A Steering Group managed the governance, with representation from all the major London and national stakeholders, including HPA, BASHH, Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health and DH PbR.

The issues that would need to be resolved were:

• T o identify the care delivered
• T o price the care delivered
• To allow flexible delivery of care (ie to allow multiple activities in one visit)
• How to measure activity and connect it with a payment
• To understand the current cost of delivering the care
• To model how the new tariffs would compare to the current costs
