    No cost of the actual IUS/IUD device in the pathway pricing model - does this need to be added? What's the split between the devices - 50/50?
    Speculum cost is in twice
    IUD and IUS insertion kit is in at 100% - should this be 50% IUD and 50% IUS? or appropriate %age

    Payment triggers suggest this currency also trigger for emergency IUD/IUS insertion - is this correct? Would it not just be a standard insertion :> LARC procedure currency

    Please refer to amendments made on this slide during previous review in 2012; the changes are not reflected on the PA website slide.
    Cost of the IUD/IUS not included in the pathway pricing model as the recommendations to the grouper was to trigger LARC procedure payment in addition to complex SRH.

    As grouper recommendation would be to trigger standard LARC procedure payment in addition to complex SRH when an IUD./IUS/Implan t is inserted, consumables costs not required in this pathway.

    Remove the following items:
    Local anaesthetic cream
    Bandages/ plasters
    Cervical Block
    Needle
    Speculum (remove one of two)
    Syringe 10ml Luer Slip Syringe
    Gloves
    IUS Insertion kit - LARC
    Male Condom
    COC (weighted average)
    POP (weighted average)
    Remove Step 5 Teach Pill / other methods
    Allow currency combination:
    SRH Complex and LARC in the same Episode
    Leave payment trigger SRH Care Activity = 22 | IUS insertion (non contraception) in silent currency Med Gynae as it is not commissioned by LA?
