Since 2013, the commissioning landscape for sexual health services has changed and become more complex. The majority of local authorities have now competitively tendered services in contrast to the situation prior to 2013, when long term NHS contracts were generally in place. The outcome of tendering has resulted in a number of locally agreed integrated sexual health tariff arrangements.

Where these agreements have been implemented with out support we have published these arrangments in our Integrated Sexual Health Tariff Configurations for any provider or commissioner for any given date.

For each data submission, the Grouper service will use the Submission month and the Provider organisation to identify the correct Tariff Configuration to apply to the data in the Submission.  The Tariff Configuration contains all the information required to understand how the data will be processed to calculate the tariff charges arising from the Submission activity data.
