Introduction

The purpose of the Integrated Sexual Health Tariff is to:

  • Promote the best interests of the patient and public health
  • Ensure open access Sexual Health services are maintained
  • Promote the integration of Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services
  • Offer value for money and affordability and not destabilise services, providers or commissioners
  • Provide robust, defensible and transparent tariffs and currencies
  • Promote use of clinical best practice care pathways
  • Develop 'setting-independent' currencies and tariffs 
  • Minimise the information management burden
