Introduction
The purpose of the Integrated Sexual Health Tariff is to:
- Promote the best interests of the patient and public health
- Ensure open access Sexual Health services are maintained
- Promote the integration of Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services
- Offer value for money and affordability and not destabilise services, providers or commissioners
- Provide robust, defensible and transparent tariffs and currencies
- Promote use of clinical best practice care pathways
- Develop 'setting-independent' currencies and tariffs
- Minimise the information management burden
