Once a submission has been made the data for that month is then locked and unavailable for change, unless a reset request is made.
However, the Grouper offers Provider+ subscribers a Sandbox feature that allows a sandbox submission to be made that does not lock the data and does not distribute chargeing data to commissioners, it simply provides a tariff calculation.
Providers can use the Sandbox feature in many ways for example to
- run test data to test and validate the Grouper,
- run 'what if' scenarios on their own data
- run calculations on larger bodies of data (eg Q1 H1, or Y1) in order to estimate future income or compare past activity
- run estimates for tendering purposes
The yellow Sandbox button is only availble to Provider+ subscribers
Sandboxed data can be extracted by the Provider in the usual manner.
To run the data in the Sandbox data from all uploaded files must first have be validated and corrected if necessary.
Providers can upload more data or delete files after the Sandbox process has completed
